1. Who we are

Cahoots (getcahoots.com) is operated by Animas Marketing, based in Durango, Colorado. These Terms govern your use of Cahoots. By creating an account or using Cahoots, you agree to these Terms.

2. What Cahoots is

Cahoots is a swipe-and-match network that helps Durango, Colorado businesses discover partners, referral sources, and vendors. Businesses build a profile, swipe on other businesses, and can message each other after a mutual match.

3. Accounts and eligibility

Cahoots is for business use. You must represent a real, operating business and provide accurate information about it. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent business information
• Use Cahoots to harass, spam, or solicit members outside the intent of the platform
• Attempt to access another business's account or non-public data
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with Cahoots' normal operation

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Prospect invites

Some businesses shown in the deck haven't claimed a Cahoots profile yet. When you express interest in one of these unclaimed "prospect" businesses, Cahoots sends that business a one-time invite email on your behalf, inviting them to claim their profile and see your interest. Invite volume is capped per business and honors any suppression or opt-out request we receive.

6. Paid subscriptions — Cahoots Featured

Cahoots Featured is an optional paid subscription that increases how often and how early your business surfaces in the deck, and adds a Featured badge to your profile. Featured is billed monthly or annually, renews automatically until canceled, and is never required to swipe, match, or claim your profile — those stay free.

Canceling stops future renewals; your plan stays active through the end of the period you already paid for. Founding-member introductory pricing, where offered, applies to your first year of Featured only (limited to a capped early cohort) and renews at the standard annual rate thereafter.

New Featured subscriptions include a 30-day money-back guarantee: if Featured isn't a fit within the first 30 days, contact us for a full refund of that payment.

7. No warranties; limitation of liability

Cahoots is provided "as is." We don't guarantee matches, business outcomes, or uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Animas Marketing is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Cahoots.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Cahoots after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
